Experienced Tractor Driver
Operate tractors, mowers and field-cultivation equipment across our turf-production operation. Previous agricultural machinery experience and seasonal flexibility are essential.

About this role
TurfWorld is seeking an experienced tractor driver to support the production, maintenance and harvesting of our high-quality cultivated turf. This is a practical outdoor role within a busy, professional farming operation.
Our workload is affected by weather and the growing season, so flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work is important. The successful applicant will be confident operating agricultural machinery safely, accurately and efficiently.
Day to day
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate tractors, mowers and other field-cultivation machinery.
- Assist with harvesting, processing and transporting turf rolls.
- Prepare land through ploughing, cultivating, seeding and mowing.
- Complete routine equipment checks and report faults promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Work with the wider team to complete seasonal tasks efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work, machinery use and maintenance.
What you bring
Experience and requirements
- Proven tractor-driving or comparable agricultural machinery experience.
- Full, clean UK driving licence, Category B or higher.
- Good knowledge of tractors and farm equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an outdoor team.
- Physical fitness, attention to detail and a strong safety focus.
- Practical problem-solving skills for adjustments and minor field issues.
- Flexibility to work longer hours during weather-dependent peak periods.
Useful additional experience
- Agricultural machinery certification or similar qualifications.
- Experience with GPS or precision-farming technology.
- Previous turf-farming or broader agricultural experience.
